Great Starter Kit!

Purchased this in the Artificer scent, and absolutely loved it! The citrus components aren’t overwhelming, and the sage and black pepper balance out the vanilla and honey nicely. The Artificer scent is more intense than I was expecting, but I really like it! It’s not overwhelming, but if you’re particularly sensitive to strong fragrances, keep that in mind. The sage is a bit too prominent to remind me of tea, but it reminds me of some incense blends I used to like to get at the local metaphysical/new-age shop, and definitely feels appropriate for an artificer/wizard theme.
When I used the beard wash and conditioner and the beard oil, the scent persisted throughout the day. Only downside is it can sometimes be a little bit too intense while wearing a mask, so if you mask regularly another scent might be a better choice (I plan to use the Gravewaker scent for days where I have to wear a mask, since it has a more subtle scent than the others I’ve tried).
I would definitely recommend using a beard brush to make sure the oil is properly distributed through your beard.
I was also given a free sample of the Rogue Sleuth beard oil, which smelled great but is a little bit heavier on the earthy/musky scents than I tend to prefer for myself, but I plan to pass it along to a friend who tends to prefer more of the traditional masculine scents.
